By the age of ten, Dennis W. Johnson was obsessed with knowing the truth about the past. After being raised in a religious family, he majored in Theology and minored in History for his Bachelor of Arts at a small private college. He was later admitted to the Religious Studies Master of Arts program at Arizona State University, where his thesis topic was “The Chronology of the Book of Jasher (Sefer ha Jasher).”
Eventually, he accepted that all organized religions are biased sources of history, and he started exploring other texts in his quest to define a true, unbiased chronology. He refined his theories over the years as his relentless pursuit of an accurate historical timeline continued. This work represents the latest conclusions he has drawn over a lifetime, principally from astronomy, archaeology, and the histories of various cultures. All these disciplines have contributed to satisfying his curiosity and answering the question: what really happened in the past?
Dennis is married with two children and five grandchildren. He and his wife, Karen, enjoy traveling and have been to thirty-nine different countries. He’s also been a season ticket holder for Arizona State University football for more than twenty-five years and plays golf weekly, even in the Arizona summertime.
This is Dennis’s first book.
